Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Sign in: Go to Google Business Profile Manager and sign in with the Google account you use to manage your Business Profile.

  2. Select the Business Profile: If you manage multiple profiles, choose the one you want to grant access to by clicking on the company name.

  3. Navigate to Users:

    • Click on the kebab Menu (3 vertically stacked dots) located in the upper right of the profile, and select "Business Profile Settings"

  1. Invite New Users:
From the window that appears select People and Access
  1. Next, select Add and Enter the email address of the person you want to invite and then choose the appropriate roll:
    • Owner: Has full control over the profile, including managing users, editing business information, and deleting the profile. There can be multiple owners.
    • Manager: Can edit business information, post updates, respond to reviews, and view insights.
Communications manager: Can respond to reviews and post updates.
Send the Invitation: Click "Invite." The invited user will receive an email with instructions on how to accept the invitation.

Important Considerations

  • Grant the least amount of access necessary. For example, if someone only needs to respond to reviews, give them "Manager" access.
  • Be careful when granting "Owner" access. Owners have significant control over the Business Profile.
  • Regularly review approved users and associated permissions to ensure they are still appropriate.

By following these steps, you can effectively manage access to your Google My Business account and ensure smooth collaboration.
