In an effort to help generate the $100 million needed to complete the new Golisano Children's Hospital & major enhancements to the pediatric program, a building naming campaign was launched late in 2011 by the University of Rochester Medical Center. Encouraging donors to make major contributions to a project that has not yet broken ground can be a bit of a challenge. An approach was needed to help donors 'visualize' what their contribution will mean to the overall project.
We developed an Interactive Virtual Building Tour, highlighting the variety of naming opportunities available throughout the construction. Each floor is mapped with interactive areas showing details of naming opportunities and details related to each. Accompanying the details, a small editorial is provided to explain the area purpose and positive impact provided.
A custom website Content Management System allows the Golisano Children's Hospital website management team to maintain naming opportunities details and a simple interface provides a quick downlaod of area / donor details. Additionally, the interactive tour was developed to be completely mobile compliant, functioning perfectly on mobile devices including iPhones and iPads running the iOS operating system.
The naming campaign website provides more information about the construction project & the campaign naming opportunities. View the Golisano Children's Hospital building naming interactive application - click on the "Our New Building, Explore It Now" call out at right.
