More importantly, the site explains the overall background and structure of The Little Theatre organization. Being a not for profit entity, the theatre relies on its membership base and donations from individuals and businesses. The site clearly explains the need of these revenue-generating elements for the theatre to survive.

The second exciting aspect of this project is the functionality built into the site, which allows the personnel at The Little Theatre, to make updates to movie listings, show times, and coming soon listings, cafe performers, as well as art openings. These changes can be made with great ease through a web browser. The administration area for these tools is password protected, preventing any unauthorized modification of the content. Also, built into the site is a communication tool, which provides "direct to user" information about current show times and events at the theatre.
