How do I set up my Corp-Comm email using Apple Mail?

Part II - SMTP Settings

(Continued from Part I - Basic Mac Mail Settings)



1. After clicking "Add Server..." a new window for SMTP Server Options will appear. Under Outgoing Mail Server, enter mail.corp-com.com*.

- Server port - leave as 25
- Use Secure Sockets Layer - leave unchecked
- Authenticiation - select Password
- User Name - your Corp-Comm email address
- Password - your Corp-Comm account password

When done, click OK.

*Note: If your ISP blocks Port 25, you'll need a different set of instructions. Please click here if your ISP blocks Port 25.


2. The new info you just entered should now show as the Outgoing Mail Server. Click OK.


3. In the Accounts window, your Corp-Comm mail account should now show under the descriptive name you gave it previously (Part I - Step 3).

If you need to edit its settings at any time, just return to this window, select the account, and click Edit. You can close this window and start using your email now!
