Kodak Corporate Branding Site
The Eastman Kodak Company needed to provide a comprehensive yet highly flexible internet web portal designed to introduce Kodak business partners and licensees to the new brand and identity system. The site makes understanding Kodak standards and guidelines easier and it also reinforces the company as an industry leader and imaging innovator.
As Kodak rolled out its new brand identity, it was imperative that all of the brand communications assets were directly accessible and easily shared. The site provides access to these assets to Kodak employees and non-Kodak employees through a dynamic registration and approval process. The solution is a site that Corporate Communications hosts and maintains for Kodak that has a unique log-in process.
The portal now provides a central coordination point for users to learn all they need to know about the Kodak brand identity, guidelines to use, and allows access to reference and production files, and other brand-related information. All registrants and access levels are controlled by administration screens.
With ease of use its primary goal, and getting updates out to worldwide users on a timely basis, the site includes many innovative features such as regular updates using our CMS News module that allows our clients to post updated material without the need for a programmer. When a news item is added, they can choose to send that update to the registered user distribution list.
The site also includes many features that encourage frequency of use. A recent addition to the Branding Portal is a sub section called the Licensing Portal. This section was designed as a stand alone portal that makes licensee submissions and approval nearly effortless for both licensees and Kodak.
